Can't wait to chat about how our Service Learning trip went!

  1. I really liked going on this field trip. Not only was it fun, exciting, and memorable, it was also a good way to show people how much they cared for you. We showed them how much we cared for them by going to the Cristalite Methodist Home and doing a craft with them. The people at the home showed how much they cared for us by paying attention to us when we were talking to them, and not really saying, "I don't need your help! I know what to do!"

I really like how we got to brighten up lonely people's day! I really love when I come over to a table, and someone is laughing. That showed me that this could be the best time of one of those people's lives! One thing I could change is the time. I wish that we could help them for a day. That is how much I would love to spend time with them.

I really hope that for the people who live there, it was one of those days where they were so happy, they could get up and start dancing all around the place. I really liked helping them, and would LOVE to come back!

    1. I really would love to come back. Unfortunately, that was the last trip to the Christalite Methodist Home. I think the people there loved it too. A lot of people were smiling. I think we really brightened up their day. Some people were hard to deal with. We had to try many time to be able to get the people there to be engaged. We still tried and tried very hard. I think we all were able to do that without giving up is that we LOVE to help other people. I hope in middle or high school, we get to go the Christalite Methodist Home again because I LOVED(like really loved) going there and getting engaged with people we just met.

  2. I think that this trip was a cool and exiting trip because I loved how we did two projects instead of 1. When I looked back at the pictures it looked funny because there was two different projects.

I loved it there but what I really loved it there was helping and teaching them new things and meeting new friends.
