Classic vs. Best Seller?

Who remembers the difference between a Classic and a Best Seller book?  Leave a comment below to help those that are still struggling with that idea.

  1. Thanks for posting this Mrs.Clayton. This could help by looking in the comments to see other peoples opinion. A Best Seller is a book that has had a lot of copies. A Classic is a book that has been past down or retold from many generations ago.

  2. This really helped me find the difference between a classic and a best seller. Now I know the difference, so, when someone asks me for a classic book recommendation I will know what to recommend.

    1. I agree with Noemi. This was really helpful for finding the difference between classics and bestsellers. Now I know that a bestseller is a book that was really popular for a little while, and a classic was around for a long time.

  3. Another type of classic is a modern classic which is a classic that stayed around for 20-50 years unlike the classics that stayed for a long time like 100 years.

    1. I agree with Young Seo that that there are two types of classics. The first type of classic are the modern classics that are the newer classic books. Then there is the classics that older and withstood the test time such as Dracula.
