Headed to the Science Center!

What an adventure today was!  I don't know if our favorite part was playing around in the Kinetic Garden or making cotton candy or boiling our solutions to make lollipops or just hanging out with friends.  Thanks to Mrs. Havens, Mr. Thomas, Mrs. Chua and Mr. Surrency for all their help with our kids.  Have a look at our pictures to see the fun we had on our trip to the Singapore Science Center!
Science Rocks!

  1. Tee hee. some of these pictures are really funny! Most of them had my dad's face in the corner though! And I really did not see you taking all of these photos either! Your like a... SPY!

    1. I know Alexa! Your group was so huddled close together I had the hardest time taking pics of you girls (and your dad). I wish I was able to sneak in a little more and get some better shots of you.

  2. On the picture of Harrison and Mychal, you can see Amber's head and eyes staring over the seat 2 rows behind. You can also see the top of my head. When Amber pointed this out, Alexa, Amber and I all started to crack up.

    1. I cropped your cute little face out of the picture, but didn't even notice Amber's eyes! Too funny that you spotted that. I got you both in the next photo though...eyes, nose, smile and entire face!

  3. It would have been fun if we could have made rock candy! I mean like just the supersaturated part, then we could take the rest home!

    1. I agree Meaghan that would be fun to make rock candy but it would take a long time. I'm still grateful though that we got to go. Good job on taking these pic's to they were really good.

    2. Can you imagine how messy that would've been? 44 kids with glasses of saturated sugar solution riding the bus back to school. It's simple enough to do at home and probably one of the only times you could convince your parents to make candy. It's for science!!!

  4. I had so much fun at the science Center! To me my favorite part was making cotton candy. It was my favorite part, because it was somehow fun to let the cotton candy turn into a spider-web without the stick in it. Then scooping all the cotton candy out. Another reason is, because we had a feast of candy/cotton candy at the end. But luckily, it all had to do with our science unit of mixtures and solutions. Lastly, I think I had to much sugar!!!

    1. I think the cotton candy could've been my favorite part too Amber. I don't think you were the only one that had TOO MUCH SUGAR! Hopefully you kids will sleep well tonight after the science filled day.

  5. I loved the pictures you took at the "Science Center". We looked amazing when we made the candy! This was fun to look at because it makes me think of how much fun we had at the fun field trip.
