Playing Around With Rock Candy

Saturation, solutions, supersaturated solutions...is it all a bit confusing?  Check out this video on how to make rock candy which may help these concepts sink in!

  1. FUN! I really can not wait until we do that!! I bet that it will be soooooooooooooo much fun! Maybe this weekend I will actually make some with my friend on our sleepover and try to sneak some under our pillows and eat them at exactly 12:00 for an extra surprise!

  2. It is so cool that we can make this at home! It is really cool that you can use a variation of different things to make this. I think I will try to make it with the pipe cleaner and pencil like the lady.

  3. This video was very helpful to understand super saturated solutions, because I saw what it happened and what it looked liked. I agree with Meaghan, it is very cool that we can make it a home instead of buying it somewhere.
