A Year in Review!

Every year, Google publishes its annual Zeitgeist, a video about what mattered most in the year.
Last year, Zeitgeist sorted billions of Google searches and captured the year’s 10 fastest-rising global queries and the spirit of 2012.  From that report, the Google folks created a short video highlighting the events of 2012, as seen through the lens of Google searches.
It’s a different way and a different perspective to view the past year.
What do you think will be on the Zeitgeist this year?  Post your comments below!

Check out the 2010 video and 2011 video!

  1. Wow! That was really interesting. It was like 2012 in three minutes. I think that it was very creative of Google to do that. It was very interesting to see the highlights of 2012, and some things that I might remember. Like when that guy set a record for the highest sky-dive. I can't wait until the 2013 one comes out.

    1. I agree Nate, that video was like 2012 in 3 minutes. It reminded me of all the good times and unfortunately bad times in 2012. I like how they got creative and Google searched it up in front of you. I can't wait for the next ones to come out too!

    2. I agree Nate and Johan it was 2012 in three minute. What I thought was really amazing was how not only was it 2012 in three minutes, but it was the best of 2012 in three minutes.
