Who'd Have Thought?

I'm guilty of buying this product.  I never knew it was producing so much waste!  Maybe it's time for me to think about buying things that have more biodegradable packaging.  What do you think?

  1. Wow, so much waste! Thank goodness I have never used this product. This is a great warning to those who love Capri Sun! They can also start recycling and creating new stuff with the pouches. That will save a lot of garbage. I wonder if they can start using different pouches or holders for it.

    1. I agree Vainavi! Who would have known that they were such a waste! Earth is already suffering from many things, and this too? These aren't the only pouches that are like this though. Many other things. Also, sometimes the products to make these might not always be very good. Like palm oil (see Alyssa's Nature Blog). So that means that this could be causing even more things. I agree with Mrs. C, we really should think about the packaging of our drinks or food.

  2. Just like Vainavi said, what a waste! I actually really like Capri Sun, but I never knew that the pouches for Capri Sun would be this bad for the Earth.I have always thought, why is the pouch so big for such small amount of juice? Just like Vainavi said(again), they really should start using smaller pouches or holders. I think all of this is really doing a lot of damage to the Earth and some changes sure need to happen soon!

  3. I never knew that! One thing though, I don't think that Capri sun is the only company hurting the earth. I am sure that candy wrappers and other things like those can wrap around the world a lot of times just like Capri sun. I think we should find out a way to recycle things like Capri sun pouches and candy wrappers.
