While we read aloud today, we're going to share our thinking in a different way. While we listen, we'll be 'talking' to each other on TodaysMeet.
The focus of today's "Meet" is comparing characters with ourselves. When we look at the struggles and dreams that our characters have, we think of ways in which we are similar to these characters. There are particular characters that a reader begins to identify with and learn life-lessons from.
As we read today, add your own thinking with your focus being on this idea. Please make sure you comments are relevant and add to the conversation.

I have really enjoyed talking on TodaysMeet with my friends. It is interesting to hear everyones thinking though out the story. It really helped when you separated everyone in two groups because when we had everyone in one group it was hard to keep up with everyones posts. I hope that we do more chats like this.
ReplyDeleteI think that TodaysMeet is a really great way to communicate among the class. Especially about a book. It is a really great way for all of us to share our thinking about the book with others. I bet everyone has lots and lots of fun using it too. And as Harrison said, it is interesting to hear everyone else's thoughts about the book.
