Thanks for putting this post up, Mrs. Clayton! I went to the talk today. I got my shirt and my ball singed by Jay, and I played goalkeeper in a huge game against him. It looked like 40 people were playing in the soccer game!
I didn't go but it sounded really fun! I think that it is a great opportunity for kids these days and for kids who don't really believe in themselves. That is how I go to believe that I really can do it in Ice skating too. When the rink had this Olympic skater come and teach us new moves, I was the first one to go up there and when I said that I couldn't do it after the 8th try, he told me that everyone can do something that they want if they really believe in themselves. That was a good thing to say too, because after that I believed that I could do it and on my next try I got it! PERFECTLY! His saying, everybody can skate without falling down and do it perfectly. That is what made me not want to stop.
