From Imprisonment to President

“No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin,
or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate,
and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love,
for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.”

Rest in peace Nelson Mandela.

  1. What a nice man, but such horrible name. (I'm not sure how to spell his name) but it means "Trouble Maker". That is his real name, but then his school teacher gave him the name Nelson Mandela. I never knew Nelson until I watched this video. It kind of gave me the chills seeing what he did, like fighting and other stuff. Nelson is a good man though, and I'm sad that he died.

    1. I agree with you Julia. Nelson Mandela was a wonderful person. One thing that came into my mind when I was watching this was that Nelson Mandela reminds me of Martin Luther King Jr.

    3. Nelson Mandela is just like Gandhi, Marten Luther King Jr., and Rosa Parks. Each one of these people wanted either to be treated the same as others, or they wanted freedom for their country and for there selves. Nelson Mandela went through 27.5 years in prison, yet he still didn't hate on the people that put him in jail.

  2. Mandela was a very cool person. He went to jail for a dum reason. He just tried to help society. He never ment to be against it he just didn't like it.
