He calls himself an ambassador of lions...he plays rough with them, talks with them and sometimes even sleeps with them.
Zoologist Kevin Richardson (aka The Lion Whisperer) in South Africa, spent many years studying Zoology at University. He's established an amazing amount of respect amongst the animals there, understanding their needs and behaviors, sharing closeness that could be deemed as insane. But this man knows exactly what he's doing!
Whoaa! That is so cool I wish I could have friends that are lions. I would like that, but I'm not sure that I would sleep with them. I didn't know that there is such thing as a lion whisperer though. I only know the Dog Whisperer. That's so cool!!!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you Luis it would be awesome to have friends who are lions! Think about all the fresh meat you would get to est. I would even sleep with them! It would be awesome to have lions for friends! I envy Kevin Richardson!
DeleteI really like lions. They are my favorite animals. That's why I did lions for my non-fiction writing piece. If I could pick a animal for my friend, I would pick lions. I'm just too scared. It's so amazing how Zoologist Kevin Richardson is able to do that. It's really cool.
ReplyDeleteThis is AMAZING! I don't know how ANY of that is possible! I showed this to my aunt who LOVES (and I mean loves) animals, and she said holding those lions would be like living in heaven! I showed this to my mom too, and she said that if she had a plane ticket to go anywhere, she would choose to go to South Africa.(Where those lions are) My mom also told me that she heard that one of the males wasn't coming when Kevin called his name, so they suspected it died. But, I really think that this is very cool, and that man, Kevin Richardson, is a very lucky man.
ReplyDeleteWow! This man is really brave to hold a lion and become friends with it. This is a really good profession to have. Interacting with animals especially lions is really creditable. It would be nice to see what other animals he is friends with!
