IXL Topic 9

Here's a review of the concepts from Topic 9.  There's two more lessons and then we'll due for our assessment on Thursday.  Practice up folks!

  1. I think that IXL is a great way to help you learn your math facts. My favorite part about IXL are the prizes that you get when you complete something. It gives you goals to try to get to so that you will work harder on practicing. What I don't like about it is when you get something right, it usually only goes up by one. When you get something wrong however, it goes down by about five to ten.

  2. I really like IXL because even if you don't know what to do when you get it wrong they give you a really good explanation. It has really helped me to understand maths better.

  3. I agree with Alexa and Kasym that IXL is really great! When we first started the fractions unit I was thinking "Oh no! Not fractions, those are the worst!". But when I had done a little bit of fractions with IXL, I started to gain some confidence that I would really understand this topic!

  4. IXL is a great way for learning new ways to solve problems. When I was on IXL I learned different ways to solve fractions. The really good thing with fractions on IXL is that they show pictures. So that's why I think IXL is good for fractions.
